Chicken Soup

Its Rainy season and both my hubby and my son have been caught up with heavy cold and fever. So, i thought of making a home made medicine.........ChickenGarlic Soup...and it worked out for some relief......

Ingredients
Sesame oil- 2 teaspoon(nowadays butter is used, but,for authentic taste and for medicinal purpose i use sesame oil)
jeera-1 teaspoon
chicken-100 grams(can be chopped fine)
garlic pods chopped-7-8 chopped
onion-1 small(finely chopped)
tomato-1 small(finely chopped)
ginger-garlic paste- 1 teaspoon
turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon
fresh grinded pepper powder-as required
salt-as required

Add  Oil/butter  in a pan, and add jeera after it splutters add onions after it turns pink, add tomato add little salt to mash the tomatoes well and then add ginger- garlic paste , saute 1-2 minutes, till nice aroma comes out then add garlic pods saute for a minute and add chicken now and saute for a minute... Now add enough water , consistency of soup should be watery...now add enough salt, pepper atleast 2 teaspoons... and turmeric powder and close the pan/cooker...for cooker, 1 to 2 whistle in medium flame will do....

TIPS
For good consistency , saute well the tomato and onions by adding salt so that it forms as a paste and binds together...by doing this it will be well smashed and onions and tomato will be invisible..
