BEANS CARROT THORAN
                             Thoran is a special dish in kerala , its main ingredient is coconut...In our home we say beans carrot coconut poriyal......I normally prefer this with sambar or kulambu rice....The speciality is no much spices here the spicyness is only from chopped chillies.If you are a spicy lover like me add 2 more chopped chillies when you switch off the stove, you will feel the amazing hot taste..........
Today I made vendakkai kulambu with beans carrot coconut poriyal....It was a good combination....so here's the receipe.....

INGREDIENTS
Onion-1(optional)
beans-250gms
carrot-100 gms
Chilly choppd-4
Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon
Coconut grated-4 tablespoon
Salt- as required

SEASONING
Mustard,urad dal – 1 tablespoon
Curry leaves- few
Hing-little
jeera-1 teaspoon

Saute the veggies, 2 mts add salt...

Add water , let it boil


                                                      Once done , add grated coconut...




PREPARATION
                               Heat oil in a pan . Add items in seasoning....Add chilly sauté it for a minute. After it  add the veggies ,salt,turmeric powder to it.Saute for a while .Add ½ cup of water to it and let it boil.After the water dries up add grated coconut to it.mix it and switch off the stove.
