NAATUKOZHI MILAGU VARUVAL (COUNTRYCHICKEN PEPPER MASALA)

NAATUKOZHI MILAGU VARUVAL

This receipe I learnt from Chef Damu's show...When I saw this receipe I never thought it would be so tastier....It was too good and I loved it to the core.....I made slight modifications to this receipe and this receipe had taken place in my favourites....
Try this and you will definitely love this...

SERVES 4-5
PREPARATION TIME 10 MINUTES
COOKING TIME 15 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS
Naatu kozhi-1/2 kg
Onion-1 big
Tomato-1 big
green chillies-2
ginger-garlic paste-1 tablespoon
coriander powder-3 tablepoon
turmeric powder-1 teaspoon
pepper powder-2 teaspoon
salt - to taste
oil-4 tablespoon

Seasoning
fennel seeds-1 teaspoon
curry leaves-few

PREPARATION
 Pour oil in a pan/cooker add items given for seasoning.let it splutter.Now add chopped onions,Chillies cook well.once it change colour add chopped tomatoes add little salt so that it smashes well and binds with onion ...Now add ginger-garlic paste and mix it 2-3 minutes in low flame until you get masala flavour.Now add the chicken and cook for few minutes , till it  leaves some water. As the water oozes out add coriander add about 1 1/2 cups water,keep in medium flame close the pan, allow it to boil.In cooker 2 steams will do..Once done  add the pepper powder and  leave 2-3 minutes,Switch off the stove serve naatu kozhi  varuval with rice.


Seasoning

Add onions,chillies saute and close 2 minutes

Now add ginger,garlic paste,tomato,turmeric

Add naatukozhi saute wait till water ooze 

Like this

Add coriander,jeera,fennel powder

Add water

Wait till water drains

Add in pepper

NAATUKOZHI MILAGU VARUVAL is ready

NOTE

1.As its naatukozhi it needs some extra cooking time,5 to 10 minutes extra.
2.I dint add jeera,fennel powder seperately as I grind fennal,jeera powder in my coriander powder.
