MasalaCheeyam

I came to know about his dish from a neighbour....They used to share it and I liked it a lot.........So thanks to them for such a superb snack.....

Ingredients 
Raw rice -1 cup
Par boiled rice-1 Table spoon
Urud dal -1 cup
Javvarisi-1 table spoon

Ingredients to be added in the dough
Small onions finely chopped-1/2 cup
Green chilies chopped-2
Grated coconut-2 tablespoons
Curry leaf-1 teaspoon
Mustard seed-1 teaspoon
Urud dal-1 teaspoon



Soak all ingredients for 1 hour and grind it to a smooth paste adding water little by little to the dough. The dough should neither be too thick nor become very watery. The consistency should be medium,like the bonda dough.Pour oil in a pan add Mustard seed,Urud dal let it splutter...saute with rest of ingredients for seasoning few minutes.Mix it in the batter.make small balls from the batter.Deep fry the cheeyams in oil once oil is hot  and remove it when its slight brown.Now the masal cheeyams are ready.
