PEAS CAPSICUM CURRY

I had this sidedish once in a hotel and liked the taste very much that thought of

trying it in home. With a guess of the ingredients when i tried i got it exactly right.........An

ideal sidedish for all tiffen varieties...

INGREDIENTS
fresh Peas-1 cup
capsicum-1/2 cup
onion-2
tomato-1
ginger-garlic paste-1 tablespoon
chillipowder-2 teaspoon
coriander powder-1 teaspoon(optional)
turmeric powder-a pinch

Seasoning
jeera-1 teaspoon
CLOVES,CINNAMON-2 EACH

STEP1
Add 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan. After it gets heated add the chopped onions and saute it until
the raw smell vanishes.now add the chopped tomato and saute it until the raw smell vanishes.
Remove it from the pan and keep aside to cool and then grind to coarse paste onion and tomato
seperately.

STEP2
Add 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan add items given for seasoning. add grinded onion paste saute
it. then add chilli powder and mix it for a couple of minutes. then add ginger-garlic paste mix
it until you get a nice aroma of the masala(1 or 2 minutes) and then the tomato paste and cook
it.now add the fresh peas and cook for 5 minutes ,Now add capsicum and just fry for a minute.  add coriander powder, salt and turmeric powder ,add enough water and allow it to boil till peas gets cooked. serve hot.

Tips
Capsicums will give a nice flavour and taste if its only 80% cooked  for this gravy.. Those who dont like it can boil it completely.but if capsicums are over boiled wont give exact taste so better to cook until it turns soft.
