CHANNA COCONUT GRAVY



    This receipe i read in a book and made slight changes to the gravy and tried it.It was really simple and also very easy to prepare.If u want to prepare a simply tasty gravy this is a good option...


INGREDIENTS

channa - 100 grams
tomato-1 big
grated coconut-1 cup
kas kas- 1 teaspoon
coriander seeds- 1 teaspoon
dry red chillies-2
salt- as required

PREPARATION


   Soak and boil the channa dal for 6-8 hours with salt and enough water.Grind rest of the ingredients with 2 table spoons of boiled channa to a thick paste.
Add the grinded paste to the boiled dal and allow it to boil for few minutes until raw flavour goes.Very ideal for tiffen items.
