PAASIPARUPPU PUTTU


A very different, tasty and healthy breakfast.............This is different from the normal puttu methods.I liked the taste of it and also very healthy indeed...But then should be careful about the preparation methods that could mess up......



INGREDIENTS
Moongdal - 2 cups
jaggery-1/2 cup
grated coconut-1/4 cup
elaichi,ghee-1 teaspoon
salt-1/2 teaspoon

BLEND WITH LITTLE SALT


STEAM  IT 10-15 MTS


DONE


GRINDED DAL,JAGGERY SYRUP,GRATED COCONUT

ALSO ADD GHEE,ELAICHI-MIX IT



PREPARATION

  Wash and Soak the moong dal 1 hour and drain water completely.  Add salt and grind nicely.Take the grinded mixture and put in idly plates and boil it like idlies for 10-15 minutes.After its boiled mince it finely to fine powder using hand/mixer.Meanwhile dissolve jaggery in water and distill it.now add jaggery water little by little to the dal and mix with elaichi and ghee.
Now tasty healthy paasiparuppu puttu is ready....

NOTES
 Be very careful in grinding,just grind for a second...If you overdo it will form like a paste.....
The jaggery syrup should be thick.no consistency required
