This is yet another quick fix receipe............You need not spend more than 10 minutes in your kitchen,if you have some chopped coconuts in your refrigerator
............Can have it for rice,tiffen,rotis......
INGREDIENTS
Channa dal- 100 gm
onion- 1
tomato-1
crushed garlic - 1 tablespoon
green chilli-2
Coriander powder-4 tablespoon
turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon
jeera-1 teaspoon
pepper-1 teaspoon
Oil-3 tablespoons
Salt- to taste
To grind
coconut-3 tablespoon
fennel seeds-1 tablespoon
PREPARATION
Wash and soak channa overnight.Drain the water when you use.Heat oil in a pan.Add oil and when heated add onion,curry leaves,tomato,crushed garlic and saute 2 minutes.Add the channa all spice powders,salt,2 cups water and coconut paste and close the cooker.Leave for 5-6 whistles for channa to cook.Ideal for rice and tiffen items.....

NOTE
I dint add pepper,jeera powders as I usually grind them together in coriander powder.....
In my pics I have added more coconut than mentioned in ingredients,its just for my kid since he likes coconut flavour so 3-4 tablespoon will give you an splendid taste.. please try and see....
