Add tomato puree,spice powders
Add water,rice,lime
Add ghee,close the cooker
Leave for 3 whistles
PREPARATION
So I did it like this....First I washed rice and kept asideHeated oil in a pan.Meanwhile chopped a onion.Added onion to the pan.While it was cooking , added rough.ly chopped tomato,added garlic as such ,chilly,fennel seeds grinded to fine puree.Added it to onion also added turmeric,chilly and corinder powder,garam masala,salt.Kept pan in medium pan.Mixed and left it to cook for 4-5 minutes to get masala flavour...Then added water,rice,lime juice, little ghee mixed and closed the pan.Left cooker in high flame for 1 whistle.Then reduced it to low-medium flame for 2 more whistles.I used long grain rice.....While the tomato paste was cooking I fried some vadams for sidedish...So today I prepared a delicious lunch with just 10 minutes in the kitchen....
