BRINJAL PODI VARUVAL/KATHIRIKAAI PODI VARUVAL




         When you get bored of the normal sidedishes can definitely go for this....An easy to prepare dish.....

INGREDIENTS
brinjal- 1 cup
oil-3 tablespoon
turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon
salt-as require
rice flour-1/2 teaspoon

for podi
mustard-1 teaspoon
urud dal- 1 teaspoon
gramdal-1 teaspoon
fenugreek seeds-1/4 teaspoon
dryred chilly-3
tamarind-a pinch





PREPARATION
 Pour 1 teaspoon oil in a pan and fry the ingredients for podi for a minute until it turns red. cool and grind to powder.
   Cut the brinjal in to round pieces.Pour oil in a pan and saute the brinjal adding salt, turmeric powder until brinjal is cooked.then add the ground powder,riceflour and fry it in low flame for 5 minutes until it binds....
