KALAA JAMUN


There is a famous sweet stall near my house....Since I have a sweet tongue I visit the shop atleast once a month....And these black jamuns attract me so much......Wow how cute they  are......So I tried this at home.......It turned so soft and yummy yummy.....
Please keep in mind don’t overcook it as it will turn bitter....Drain it as soon as  they start turning black....These jamuns I tried with readymade mix....The koya version will be tried soon.......

PREPARATION TIME- 5 MINUTES

COOKING TIME 25 MINUTES


INGREDIENTS
Instant jamun mix-1 pack
Sugar-2 cups
Elaichi-2
Oil/ghee-for fry
Rose essence-2 drops
Milk,ghee-little for binding flour

Fry jamuns in oil/ghee

PREPARATION

Take jamunmix in a bowl mix with milk,1 tbsp ghee and form a soft dough and add ghee on the dough so that it does not dry.... Close and leave for 20 minutes.Meanwhile add sugar in a bowl with 3 cups water , boil till it forms a sticky consistency,Then add rose essence,elaichi....Form balls from dough.Heat oil/ghee for frying add the jamun balls one by one.Wait till it becomes slight black.Remove from oil and add it to syrup....Leave it 2 hours and it will be ready to eat...
