NANDU RASAM(CRAB SOUP)


An ideal rasam when suffering out of fever/cold.The same receipe can be tried with chicken too...This soup gives a unique flavour and taste because of crab.....

INGREDIENTS
For rasam
crab-1/4 kg
tomato-1
onion-1 
jeera-1 teaspoon
gralic-4 pods finely chopped
turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon
oil-2 teaspoon
salt-as per taste


for masala
Onion-1 small
milagu-2 tablespoon
ginger-1 tablespoon
garlic-3 to 4 pods
dry red chilli-2
coriander seeds-1 tablespoon
jeera- 1 teaspoon
curry leaves-few






PREPARATION
saute only the pepper till nice aroma comes in the masala. grind the ingredients in masala to a paste and keep aside.Now add oil in a pan saute with jeera then add onion,garlic,tomatoes and crab for few minutes.Now add turmeric powder,salt and the masala with enough water,close the pan  and allow it to cook for 10 minutes.Serve hot....


NOTE
Donot add too much water to the soup it will spoil the rich taste of the soup.It should be little thick......
