VEGETABLE FRIED RICE /FRIED RICE


                                        

              Ofcourse a mild and tasty dish and also equally nutritious.It has been long time i have prepared fried rice at home, so thought of doing it today for dinner.....If you follow the steps exactly you will definitely be able to do a in hotels....

INGREDIENTS
Basmati rice-1 cup
beans-20 grams
carrot-10 grams
cabbage-20 grams
fresh green peas-little
capsicum-few pieces
finely chopped ginger-1/2 teaspoon
finely chopped garlic-1/2 teaspoon
salt-as per taste
white pepper-2 teaspoon
oil-4 tablespoon
spring onion-little.
ajinomotto-1/4 teaspoon(optional)
soyasauce-1 teaspoon(optional)


STEP1
   
       WATER MEASUREMENTS.(for most basmati rice)
       for cooker- 1.5 cup of water for  1 cup rice.
       For open pan-2 cup of water for  1 cup rice.

I prefer open pan., Add water in pan/cooker and add salt for rice alone and 1 teaspoon pepper and 2 tablespoon oil and allow it to boil.once water boils add rice and cook it.Once rice is done, spread in a plate and allow it to cool.

STEP2
      add 2 tablespoon oil in a pan once heated add chopped garlic,ginger saute it  once you get  flavour add beans , carrot,peas first with little salt once its half cooked add cabbage
and capsicum saute well with salt required for vegetable.add 1 teaspoon pepper and mix well.add spring onions and mix vegetables are done add the cooked rice,soyasauce and saute well and cook for 3-4 minutes.Fried rice is ready......





Tips
    For authentic taste rice and vegetables should be cooked 90% only.
    Vegetables should not be completely boiled.Capsicum and cabbage will be good, if its little crunchy.
    For those who are health conscious soya sauce and ajinomotto should be avoided.
    If you need white colour fried rice, can add light soya sauce,available in market can be added.
