AVAL LADDU



         A very healthy and tasty sweet, rich in fibre..........Its very ideal for kids.......
does not take much time but the taste will be good.Its a very good evening snack....


INGREDIENTS


poha/aval/rice flales- 1 cup
sugar-3/4 cup
cashews-2 tablespoons
raisins-2 tablespoons
ghee- as required
elaichi powder-1/4 teaspoon
milk/water - as required

PREPARATION
       Clean the rice flakes and add 2 tablespoon of ghee in a pan.Once its heated add poha and fry two minutes in low flame.Allow it to cool.make a fine powder of poha and sugar.now mix poha, sugar,elaichi,cashew, raisins and add ghee little by little to make fine balls.Can add milk/water if required to make the balls.

Note

Donot add milk if you are making for long storage.
