I prefer doing this dosa whenever i get bored of the daily breakfast options..this again is a tasty healthy tasty breakfast....
INGREDIENTS
Idly rice-1 cup
thoor dal-3/4 cup
red chilly-3
chopped coconut- 2 tablespoons
salt-aS required
For seasoning
mustard seeds- 1 teaspoon
urud dal-1 teaspoon
curry leaves- little
asafoetida-a pinch
PREPARATION
Wash and Soak the rice and dal for 2 hours and grind with rest of the ingredients with salt and grind to a coarse paste.pour oil in a pan and add the items given for seasoning.Mix it to the batter.Heat the tawa and spread the batter like dosa.Cook like dosas on both sides , serve hot.
NOTE
The batter should be coarse grinded.
